HK AVR 7200 shutting down

I am using the HK AVR 7200 for my Home Theater AV unit. Recently I had to ship the unit for repair. A fuse and capacitor were replaced and the unit returned. This necessitated me reconnecting all components.
When I try to play a DVD in 8 channel surround sound the video and audio play fine, then almost immediately the audio shuts off. Otherwise the system works fine. It looks like I have something connected wrong shorting the sound. Otherwise all other aspects are fine.
My components:
Panasonic 50 " Plasma TV
HK AVR 7200
Denon DVD 5900
HD Tivo Satellite receiver
Sony 5 disk CD Changer
Sony Turntable with preamp connected to Tape In on HK AVR unit
Adcom preamp connected the the multichannel out on the HK AVR to drive house and pool speaker splitter

Any suggestions where to start are greatly appreciated. Any sites to check for info?
Thanks in advance.

first thought...Check to be sure the speaker wires are connected correctly. Make sure there are no frayed strands hanging around touching other terminals
