hk avr 335 multi room problems

i set up the multi room/7.1 however when i switch to multiroom, the back chanels only can play inputs that are analog.

all the channels that are hooked up to digital audio, wont allow any sound to pass through. but the radio, ps2, and tv audio work perfectly.

any clue why its doing this? its pissin me off.

i hope there is a fix, but im starting to think there isnt

If your H/K is like my Denon 3802, you may to run a pair of analog cables as well as digital cables for your other components if you want to use the multi room function on your reciever. For some reason, my Denon multiroom function only works for analog inputs. Kind of sucks. Best bet is to check your users manual to confirm.

With very few exceptions, you must use stereo analog connections from your sources to get the signal for use of the multi-zone feature.

yeah thanks, i ended up having to run analog as well, pretty weird
