I've done a ton of reading on the + & - of all three & thought I'd ask for input from the gallery. The room has medium light. Please tell me why you prefer one over the other. Hitachi used to be considered top notch, but I'm not hearing as much about them anymore. Thanks for your input.

I have a Mits DLP that I like, but I have heard great things about the Samsung DLPs, mainly from the guy that did an ISF calibration on my Mits. According to him, Samsung is very good about communicating with the ISF calibrators and working on them via the service menu is apparently pretty easy.

This is not such a big deal for some people, but something to consider when checking out the displays.

www.CIR-Engineering.com for info about the calibration, it is well worth the money.

I just went with Samsung HLR5067W and love it. Negotiated with Sears (of all places) for $1979 and a few.

I set it up through local cable with a cable card. My viewing distance is about 14 feet. The only complaint I have re: resolution is on darker scenes the reds are accentuated abnormally. I am sure this is nothing more than a set up issue.
