I am author of the program code. The app measures the frequency response and impulse response of audio systems via logsweep. Compared to typical Windows programs, I focused on making many measurements at once. The algorithm automatically determines the microphone position and saves the result without file handling by OK-clicking. A private listening room can thus be quickly measured very comprehensively with many measurements using a handy Android device.

The result can be output as a frequency-dependent sound pressure map, so you can see different room modes immediately.

Frequency response, impulse response (step, smoothed, filtered by frequency, ETC, Schroeder), waterfall diagram, spectrogram and T_60 are also available.

Maybe with more info about correction files for various android device mics....and how it knows precise room positioning...but not going to just install the app and not use my measurement mic just to play with this either ...

The built-in microphone is surprisingly useful for many measurements. However, the results of different devices cannot be compared. I have worked this out in more detail in http://hifi-apps.com/mic_calibration.htm (sorry - german, top left is a "Translate with Google" option). There are also some frequency responses with measurement microphone vs. built-in microphone.
For measurement microphones there are interfaces for USB OTG, e.g. Shure x2u or from iRig.
