Hi I need some advice on getting new loud speakers and eventually a new amp.
I have practically no knowledge about hifi stuff I'm not sure if it's the right forum to post but I didn't see any threads in the beginners section so I thought it was broken. Anyways, I have a harman/kardon 430 twin powered amplifier witch is in so so condition. I'm not sure what the problem is but it's extremely sensitive with electricity, every time I turn on a light in my house or some other electrical device there's a loud pop in the speakers also when i turn it on/off there's a pop sound and if I touch the volume nob with 20 seconds after I turned it on there is really loud noise, quite annoying. Other than that I'm quite satisfied with the amp itself, however, the loud speakers are very thorn and once movies go loud there is a really distinct "broken loud speaker sound". So I would like some new ones, but I have no idea what to get and I'm also a bit afraid of the pops in the amp might ruin new loud speakers so I'd like to get that fixed somehow. Might also say that I'm on a budget, about 200€ (I'm a poor student
so don't recommend me the most expensive stuff.
