Hey Mule, I got bored

Anyhow since I got bored, I started to get tired of watching on the 15" monitor.
So I still had the 50" screen from 1960 in storage. And I decided to quickly set it up.

I would put the whole set up back together, 120" screen and remount the projector. But this way is easier, in case more work starts on the condo. So I can just quickly just throw a sheet over the projector. and the 1960 screen I don't care about.

Anyhow, this was done with no calibration disc (which it really needs, but that screen is so old, it has a yellow tinge)

The first pic is with the lights off, the second pic is with the hallway and dining room light on (both 60 watt bulbs) the third pic with me standing there, I beleive the hallway light is on, but dining room light is off.

I set this up in about 20 minutes. With my proper set-up, you would be amazed. And I think you would hold off on buying more front mains, and go ahead and make the projector purchase....

Click on the pics below and tell me what you think..
Yes, I am a tad drunk.... Go figure - This post is--------- Well, I don't know what it is...

But I guess I was trying to point out, that a baby could set-up a projector and get great quality. However when setup correctly, it will be superb quality,,

EDIT, oh yeah you had asked about cigarette smoke, well I just finished a cig before taking these pics. Obviously I did not even line up the edges. Its just to give you a idea what to expect. Also my projector is not really made for HT use, it is for large venue. It does have 2000:1 contrast. But you may want to look at the H31, it should blow mine away...

Here are a few pics so you can even see how that old screen looks.
So obviously a new screen like my 120" or the other 96" would be fine.
Clearly this screen is from 1960-1967 era...

Is that you in the third pic with your arms crossed? If so, who took the photo?

Obviously I put it on timer.... C'mon Buck....
Yeah thats me....

EDIT:: I guess I was a little buzzed last night (still am) But I was trying to make the point, that even a poor front projection setup will kill a normal 36" tv.... I beleive that screen is only 50" and its about the poorest screen I have ever seen. Its been in the outside storage bin for about 15+ years...

EDIT #2:: Oh and for those that wanted to know, the movie is called Eurotrip.

That chic is hot.

Hey, what do I know. That could be your late night buddy. LOL. JK. ;)

My Toshiba 36" CRT puts out an awesome pic in HD 480i. But it's HD - not a fair comparison.

I told you it wouldn't take long before you had that projector back up!!!

You just can't leave the toys alone. It's too tempting.

You know who she is right...
Michelle Trachtenberg
I thought I recognized her. We got my daughter the "Ice Princess" dvd because she's into ice skating. She's a great actress, on top of being a hottie.
