The built-in motion sensitive anti-theft alarm works by emitting an audibly loud signal when it is moved. The alarm is built into the "beauty cover" which protects the input terminals.

600:1 (as a full on/off or made-up number) for a church or office projector isn't terribly bad... Provided it's bright enough... At 5500 lumens it's going to be very nice for that application.
