Bet you won't be lighting up that fireplace anytime soon:rolleyes:

Nice set up!

I like the room.

I could see you spreading those speakers out a bit, getting them off the hearth. It's nice that the Mac equipment is front and center but it seems a little out of place just sitting in front of the fireplace like that. Again, I really like the style of the room but a little more integration would make it awesome.

I've played with the speaker locations, sound 'right' in that location, no floor boundry interference...
equidistance form each other and the walls...
they might actully need to be a bit closer (for sound, not appearence), soundstage sounds a bit spread/thin
plus their location allows cabinet/shelf access and clearance for the dogs running thru, lol, pretty safe up there
inherent constraints, lol

the room is pretty big, 15 x 35 or so, another 15' or so to the rear of the photo perspective location, dining area

bottled gas fireplace, no real heat, only ambience, not used

the amp location is tricky, shelves are too narrow, thought about cutting an opening in the back (closet is on the backside)
looks better with the new cabinet, thought about an amp stand/small table

Nice and clean. Looks very comfortable.

Would like to see the center channel closer to ear level though.

Thanks for taking time to post photos.
