Yay?

I'm sure I could share your excitement more if I knew what you were talking about. How about some context?

System Up to date.

Yikes, In my excitment I forget to mention
that the system listed below was my new system.
(system up to date in the sign. area)
I went from a 10 yr old bose sytem to a Definitive Technology sytem.
The center channel was set up yesterday.
Tuned in XXX, state of the union movie and the sound was incrediable.
My next dvd is the Blue man group, the complex.
I'm looking for good DVD to test the sound on the system.
Any suggestions?

The Universal Remote (got yesterday also) works with every companant I've got. Can't believe how easy it worked. I had four remotes before. This one my wife loves.

I haven't got the sub yet. I'm looking at possible doing a diy project using
a 15" driver and the recommended amp from Rythmic. or Gettign the Deftech Supercube. 1000 bucks. The diy around 500 bucks, but I hear they are great.
What do ya'll recommend.
Ps. The sales rep for the speakers was great. Feel good when you get good service. I've ripped off many times, but he was straight up the whole time.

What is great about that system is you can live without a seperate subwoofer for a while.:)

You definitely do not need a sub with the BP2006s. They put out as much bass as anyone could possibly want. I don't even want or need a sub with the BP10s.

Definitely right!
I didn't realize how much bass these speakers produce. They really have very good bass sound. This is with a straight channel connections, the bass from the reciever isn't connected yet.
I think that there is a way to connect these speakers to the sub conn. but I'm not sure how.
Am I missing anything by not connecting to the bass conn.?
Most likely I'll get a sub because I'm wanting to do a diy sub project.

Still waiting on the stands, I'll upload some pics after that.
I'm going to do some room accoustics next also.

If I’m not mistaken, Denons only sends the LFE (.1) signal through the subwoofer output no matter how the bass management/speakers are set up. To make the most of your current setup, split the sub-out with a Y-adapter to each of the 7006s’ sub-amp. If it were me, I’d run the 7006s small w/ a 60Hz xover.
