Tell us how big your room is (LXWXH) and describe how loud you listen and what you don't like about your current sound.

But smart money says:
Return the Pioneer receiver and start looking for new speakers!
The Onkyo you have is not a great receiver, but it is not a piece of crap either. With the Polk Monitor 60's rated as 8 Ohms and 90dB sensitivity, the Onkyo 65WPC should be sufficient (unless you are trying to play loud in a large room).
The differences between receivers are nothing compared to the differences between speakers, and if you don't like the sound, changing the receiver will only make a noticeable difference if the receiver was not capable of producing the power needed by the speakers.

All of my speakers are new. My room is not that big 12x18x9. But when I listen to music or watch a movie....I like to to listen...lol...I want a good reciver with power and that will give me good surround for movie and clarity in music.....what I have sound really good I just think I can do better on the recivier...

Your speakers will be your limitation as long as your system is set up properly. Getting a new receiver hoping that it will drastically change your sound will be a long journey. Granted things like advanced room correction can help, but it can't make speakers sound better than they are capable of sounding. Room treatments are another thing that can improve sound, but if not done properly can make it worse than it is.
