hi, i have a Yamaha RX-V767 receiver and i am trying to hook up my blue-ray player (Panasonic DMP-BDT-210) and a lcd tv (Sony KLV-40V550A) with some 5.1 speakers (JBL CS6100). i have it all hooked up according to the owners manuals and i can only get video on the tv but no audio. there is a small tone from the sub woofer, but thats it. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Welcome to the forum, Bob!

To help me better understand the issue - when are you not getting audio? When watching TV, blu-ray, or both? Also, are you not getting audio through the TV speakers or through your 5.1 speakers hooked up to the receiver? Also, what cables did you use to hook everything up?

There are a couple of things that come to mind, but knowing what your exact issue is will help narrow it down. It could be that you need to set up the HDMI audio on your receiver (to either play through the receiver speakers or the TV speakers, depending on what you want), or something else.
