hello,,new to all this,,,so if i am in the wrong place imm sorry,,,,but i need HELP,,,i have an older pioneer audio/video/multi channel recver,,,lost owners guide,,,and the only way to change settings ,is through an remote,,,,,i tyyed 4 remotes so far but the code dont enter,,,,can some one have any ideas on how to get in to the settings,,,pioneer,vsx-d557,,,thank you..

I'm sure we could find remote codes for you but if you don't have a remote that can import them I'm not sure how we can help.

If you are going to consider a new remote my suggestion would be to pick up a Logictech Harmony remote. They make many models and the program software works through the internet so it will give a list of models for each device that you own. You will not need any of your original remotes and it should have all of your features.

Hi, squirel. You mentioned having a VSX-D554 on Friday, but I believe that the VSX-D557 has the same owner's manual. Check out the responses to your other thread for some info on getting a copy of the manual.
