I just recently upgraed my RX-V650 to the Rx-V1500 and I ran into a problem. With all the components, speakers and cables the same and after double checking all connections I lost the ability to record on my VCR.
My VCR can play any recorded VCR tape just fine but will not record I have checked all the connections in which I have VCR1 on the receiver with the in and out off the same VCR to the in and out via component audio and video cables and the same from my cable box in to the receiver which is wear i am trying to record from.
I attempted tests turning the v conv and cmpnt OSD setup option off and on but this did not help.
Can anyone help or advise what has changed between these 2 receivers?
