Help with Window 8 "Play to" Feature; samsung smart tv, yamaha RX-A3030

Yamaha RX-A3030 Receiver

Samsung Series 5 Laptop i5-3210M running windows 8.1 64 bit with windows media player.

I have some movies and shows on my laptop and can right click to "play to" our new Samsung tv, however, we get the picture but no sound. I can also right click and "play to" Xbox 360 when that is powered on and picture and sound both work.

What settings do we need to change on the receiver to get sound when we "play to" the tv without using Xbox? What page in the manual do I look....this receiver is going to take some time to learn...Wowzer

Update: I contacted Yamaha and wanted to tell everyone how helpful they were in getting all our questions answered so our problem is solved other than figuring out the zone set-up (save that for another day when we have more time).
