Help with Vintage Marantz HD880.

Hey everyone, I have a pair Marantz HD880 that my father gave me. One of the 12" woofers has rotted away. I have loved the sound of these speakers since i was a little kid, so i want to find a way to fix this problem. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Patrick

Well you can refoam the drivers. Or you can replace them. I believe those were acoustic suspension speakers if I’m not mistaken. Something like this would be a close replacement

But do not throw the old woofers away!, Those are some very rare (and good sounding) loudspeakers you have there. They are worth much more with the original drivers.

Also, make sure you do both woofers, regardless of which route you take.
