Was interested to read the review of these speakers on the Audioholics site - the reviewer clearly liked them, so I must be doing something wrong!
I think my receiver (Pioneer VSX-C100) is set up OK - all speakers small, sub crossover at 150 Hz, all nasty sound processing modes off. The speakers sound great with multichannel movies, but with stereo music the midrange seems very muffled. As a test I plugged in a beaten up old pair of JPW bookshelf speakers that I usually have connected to the PC and the music sprang to life - much fuller sound, clear vocals, the lot.
I wasn't expecting miracles from these speakers, but before I give up on sub/sats and buy something else does anyone have any pointers to what mighr be going wrong?
