Hey, I'm kinda new into car audio, and looking to get some subs and amp for my car. I found the subs I want, but I don't know the RMS of the subs to get the right amp for them. The subs are a pair of Pioneer TS-W309D4 12-Inch, with Dual 4-Ohm Voice coils, and 1,400-Watts. I have looked around, and I can't seem to find the RMS of them, and that's what you need to match the amp with I'm pretty sure? I read somewhere that it's about half of the total power, so I was figuring 700 RMS per speaker, and found a 1500-Watt amp. Is that too much, too little? Please help?
