New here, hope maybe someone can help me out.
Being something of a DIY kinda guy, and also a bit short on the spendy stuff, I bought off ebay the amplifier panel from a Definitive Technology prosub 600.
My idea was that I'd buy/build/find an enclosure and get a good quality driver and have a pretty decent piece for a pretty decent price.
What I hadn't seen coming was that with just the amp, it is far from clear where the sub speaker would be connected. This would be the "inside-the-box" connection between amp and subwoofer speaker.
Has anyone opened up a prosub 600 (or maybe another prosub unit -- connections would probably be much the same thru the line, no?) and checked this out? Is there anyone who might be willing to do so? Maybe a couple quick pics?
And, umm, what's the impedance of the driver?
I guess I got in a bit over my head.
Anyone willing to help me tread water?
