I currently have a HK 354 and Klipsch Quintent SL. I am looking to replace the fronts with floor standing or at least larger speakers as well as a larger center speaker. I would prefer to stay with Klipsch but open for ideas. They are located in a larger room and I planned on using the current SL fronts as the rears for 7.1. They are connected to a Sharp 65" LCD and Sharp Blu-ray. Used for both music and home T. Looking at the Klipsch RF and RC 52 or the F-2. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
If you like Klipsch then go for it.
If you haven't listened around I suggest it though.
Just things you may not know
If your tv is wall mounted and you have the space below a matching tower would be the best center. If you lack the space below to pull that off then you can also look at a matching bookshelf. From the Series.
You can also try phantoming the center. I suggest this first if you like it you saved yourself some cash. If you find you don't like it then look to add a center channel(FYI doesn't always have to be a true center).
Another series to throw at you is the KEF iQ series. They have a great sound stage and a very good center speaker in the iQ6. It's one of the best centers out there. Another amazing center is the Infinity Beta 360.
If you can find one that has the tweeter above a midrange driver sometimes this helps with the sound stage.
