First of all you need an EQ. I did own them speakers in 1975. If they are in good shape get and EQ and then decide. Without EQ they sound hollow and empty.

Bass is anything below 200Hz.

Are the walls shaking?:D

Increase the subwoofer level and see what happens. Like +1dB, +2dB, +3dB, etc.

Is your subwoofer's level @ the recommended 50% level on the subwoofer itself, like in the back of the sub?

You could try Def Tech 8020ST. They have a 150W amp to drive the woofer. I think they are a little boomy but the have bass to spare.

You might also try to shut off Audyssey completely (bypass) and just bump the subwoofer level 3 - 6 dB above the rest of the channels.

Do you have a digital SPL meter? If not get one.:D

For example, set all your channels to Zero first (0.0 dB). Measure each channel level from where you normally sit. Let's say the Left & Right are 76dBC on your SPL meter. Could be 75dBC, 76, 77, etc, but for this example let's say 76dBC.

Now set your Center to 78dBC, Subwoofer to 79dBC or 80, 81, 82dBC, & surround to 76dBC, unless you want more "ambient effects", then set your surround to 78dBC too.:D

Try not to set any channel level below the 0.0dB on your AVR. Keep it like 0.0, +0.5, +1.0, +1.5, +2.0, etc.

But of course, the KEF will be better than Bose, in case you haven't notice that in the audiophile world.:D
