Hallo all,
I bought 2 speaker emty speaker cabinets with fiters in. I want to buy new speakers but I do not know the frequency range and the filterlow-mid-high pass frequency.
All formula's I found did not give the component parts they used in this filter.
Can somebody tell me the crossover points of this filter?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

This whole thing seems destined to end poorly.

Your right to be concerned that the drivers you purchase can reach down and up to the crossover points; but you are forgetting that the drivers are not equally sensitive, and that the crossover can play with sensitivity too. You also are overlooking that drivers behave differently based on the cabinet type and size and that they only operate properly within a small range of sizes.

So you would need 3 drivers capable of meeting each other at the needed crossovers, and with similar off-axis performance, and with the correct efficiencies, and with the correct needs for cabinet space.

There's a reason people don't start with crossovers then add drivers... it doesn't really work.

Proper order:
1) Chose drivers that can work together.
2) Chose a box which can be modified to give the correct enclosure spaces to those drivers.
3) Build a crossover which properly integrates those drivers, and also makes the correct compensations for the box.
