I have a psb cw383 that I am going to use as my center channel. This was originally going to go in-wall but now is going to go into a built in cabinet which also has my components. I am pretty sure that I need an enclosure for this now. Would someone please help me with suggestions for the size of the box? I am assuming that mdf is the best way to go. I am not worried about base for my center channel as I have a james audio sub and my front speakers are the psb cw800s.

Thanks for the help.

I would first contact PSB's technical support to determine the volume requirements for said model. Once you know what range of volumes are acceptable then you can begin your enclosure project. A normal wall cavity has about 3.5 ft^3 of internal volume (assuming 8 foot ceilings). I would venture to guess it has a volume requirement of about 1.5 ft^3 to 4 ft^3. It has a rather wide range as they do not know how it will be used in every situation.

We can help you more from there.
