First off, thanks in advance for any help, I know a little about audio, but not an incredible amount.

I have a Sony STR DH700 receiver that was at one point set up as a surround sound receiver. Now, it is in my music listening room and serves as the base for my stereo for music only. It is ran into two Kenwood KS-H52 3-way speakers. I would like for the receiver to send a full range signal to the speakers as I'm sure they have a built in crossover that will send the lows, mids, and highs to the proper speaker. Currently, it appears that it is only sending the higher end of the signal to the speakers. I know that this receiver does have a subwoofer pre-amp output, however I'd prefer to just use the subs that are in the current speakers I have. Is there a way to accomplish this? If so, how would I go about that? If I need to clarify anything else just let me know.
Again, thanks for any help.

In your setup menu there is a SW (Subwoofer) choice. Simply say no and the receiver should send full range to your speakers. That is on page 51 of your owners manual.

Thanks for that, I got that part done. It helped a bit, however, it isn't where I'd like it to be. Is there anything else that can be done with this setup? I've adjusted the EQ and turned the bass up, but there is still nowhere near the punch that I feel those speakers should have. It's plenty loud, just not much bottom end.
With all that being said, I'm not trying to get window shaking nightclub levels here, just a good solid bottom end up from the kick drum etc... on rock music. I understand that I may be trying to get blood from a turnip to some extent, but this is all I have to work with at the time.

It sounds like you might have to add an additional sub. Many people on this site run multiple subswoofers.

You have to go through the complete setup of the receiver.

Make sure to go through page 51 and set your front speakers to 'LARGE' and that your center is set to 'NO' and your surround speakers and subwoofer is set to 'NO'.

If there is any equalization put in place by the A/V receiver, make sure it is turned off so that internally it isn't flattening the bass response.

My feeling is that you may still have the front speakers set to 'small', which will cut the lows significantly.
