Help with serious popping sound from Rotel amp/Emotiva pro

So I recently received my Emotiva UMC-200 back after some nightmare issues and everything works great except I now get a serious popping sound when I power everything off with my Harmony remote. It's a very loud pop in all 5 speakers followed by smaller pops as my Rotel 1075 amp shuts down. It never did this before but Emotiva did an update and they think that the firmware changed the timing of when it signals the Rotel to turn off. I have had extensive conversations with Emotiva and they have said that the only complaints they are getting this from are from Rotel amp customers.

I have tried grounding the amp to the ground on an outlet since Rotel's did not come with 3 prong power cords back in the day. That did not work, only added a humming sound.

So my question is, is there some way to delay/advance the signal of when the amp is triggered off? I have just a basic trigger cord, is there something better? I'm willing to try anything as right now I have to walk up to the amp and physically turn it off before powering everything else done and it's a serious PITA!

Thanks to anyone who may have some advice or suggestions!

There are powerstrips on the market that will turn certain ports on when it senses power flowing to a different port. I'm not too familiar with them, but someone can come along to give you a rec on it.
