:)Hey i'm new to this audio stuff and I need help with connecting my subwoofer it has 4 oulets in the back and i'm not sure how to connect them it is a s12l5 2ohm. If I parallel connect them would that mean it is 1 ohm stable or is it still 2ohms? I have a zx400.1 and it is stable at 4 and 2 ohms. Would I be able to hook it up to my sub?:)

Is this a car audio steup? Sounds like your sub is a dual voice coil. I'm not comfortable with my knowledge on this but Crutchfield has a good collection of wiring diagrams that may be able to help you out.

I'm sure someone here will be able to answer your specific question more intelligently than I have been able to.;)

EDIT: Mike beat me to it with a better answer, oh well. That's what I get for taking lunch.;)
