Hi all
I am a newbie in home theater but after 3 weeks of researching i have decided to buy the onkyo tx sr 702 a/v reciever. currently I have the lg da 3530 cd/dvd reciver.
The question I have is, would my current speakers cause any problems with this new reciver. my current speakers are lg speakers ( i know they are not much but that was my first system). they are 8 ohms with 65w max output.
I will be upgrading soon, but am wary of using them with my new reciever. Would the reciever be damaged in any way if I do so. i mainly do not put my current system too high, mainly using it for watching movies and TV.
