I recently purchased a vsx 1120K and am setting up my home audio. I 'm looking for some help with the following:
1. does this receiver support zone 3? I've seen comflicting information, and nothing in the manual.
2. I'm trying to set up my speakers as follows:
- 5.1 in the tv room (4polk rc80i in ceiling, polk cs10, polk psw10)
- 2 ceiling speakers in dining room with volume control switch (rc80i)
- 2 ceiling speakers in master bedroom with vol control (rc80i)
- 4 outdoor patio speakers with vol ctrl (2 under eaves, 2 "rock" type)
I'd like the dr/mbrs/patio speakers to be all zone 2 (or patio set to zone 3 if available)
I have a 2 channel amp (audiosource amp100) I was planning on using for the outdoor speakers. But how can I hook up the other two rooms given the 1120's connections? Do I need another amp?
One other consideration, I may add a third set of ceiling speakers (bonus room) down the line. I can A/B switch these with the master bedroom if necessary, but that's not optimal. However, I don't have a clear path to run wires back to the receiver (but I can get to the masterbedroom)....
Any of this make sense? thanks in advance for any help
