Help with Options for my Basement Home Theatre, Please

So, I am new at the home theatre systems. I am in Canada, very limited options here and prices come to be a bit higher than in US with less disposable income. In any case, I currently have two Kanto YU5's for my TV which is about 10 feet away from where I sit. However my basement is almost built, and I am thinking of getting a really nice (it's relative) system for the basement. The basement home theatre area is 16'X16' in size and this is what I am thinking of getting. My budget is limited but not fixed so please feel free to provide your opinion/options within similar price range (may be even lower, and remember this is CANADIAN DOLLARS.. so US will be about 70% of these, and not all things will be available or even be similar price here in Canada).

My preferences:
- I will not be listening to anything extra loud
- movies and music
- I want something nice now but don't have to make a full 7.2 right now that I have my basement hooked up for. Would be okay to add extra things in the future as more budget becomes available. But it still needs to be nice now.

This is what I have booked but have not received, and have to option to return any or all of these. These are at about 30-50% discounts each:

Receiver: Yamaha RX-A760 ($725)
Center: KEF Q200c ($395)
Front: KEF 100B X 2 ($347 for the two)
Subwoofer: KEF Q400b ($455)
Ceiling/Atmos: Yamaha NSIC 600 X 2 ($200 for the two) - for my Atmos speakers on the ceiling

I was thinking of using the Kantos as rear surrounds, but then learned that this is power speakers and will not work with the rest

So that's it. I keep on wondering if this is a good deal, and if I am getting a good system and whether I am going to regret it later on, etc. etc.

Your help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Wondering if the Definitive Technology Powerfield 310 would be better than the KEF Q400b. This is available for $300 at BB. half off. Still less than the KEF's regular price of $900 though.

Would JBL Loft 50 towers (pair) for $500 be a better deal than the KEF bookshelves for front? Would may be this JBL work better as rear speakers?

My usages will be:
Movies mainly from Netflix.
Music mainly from my PC.

@robearburbles I think the KEFs you've chosen are a worthwhile choice, all except the subwoofer. Are you within driving distance of Abbotsford, BC? This assembled CSS TRIO12 would be an excellent choice in that same price range, much more grown up than the 10" KEF sub. Response should resemble the blue line on the graph on this PDF.

Re: JBL Loft towers vs. KEF Q bookshelfs, I'd choose the KEFs. I'm struggling to find measurements for the Loft 50, but the Loft 40 seems to have a recessed midrange resulting in a tinny sound. If that timbre is consistent across the series, I don't have a lot of confidence in the Loft 50.
