I am looking for some input on how to layout a dedicated media room in a new house that my wife and I are breaking ground on soon. Since this is a production builder, the layout of the walls, size of the room, etc are pretty much set in stone with perhaps a little room to change things. But I do have the opportunity to customize the pre-wiring for speaker placement and TV /projector placement.
Attached is the room layout. It is approximately 14x20. My receiver will support up to 9.2 so I would enjoy being able to take advantage of that. Not sure if I should go the long way or short way. Speakers can be in-ceiling or in-wall. Since this is the only time I'll have easy access to some of these spaces, I would really like to get it right up front!
Thanks for any help you can provide.
