Help with my Yamaha RXV2400

So I got a Yamaha RXV2400 (it had a great review here). i've spent the last week trying to get it to work.

My problem is that I cannot get sound to come out to my speakers.
I should mention the only exception is that the auto setup puts out test signals through the front speakers and the subwoofer.

I can get sound through the preouts and the record/zone2 outs but not through the powered channels.

Any help you could give would be appreciated

Check in the manual set-up to make sure you have all of the other speakers turned on. Since I no longer have the review sample, I can't tell you the exact key presses. Perhaps other owners here can help.

I suspect you don't have the other speakers configured.

Pioneer Elite VSX-53TX vs Yamaha RXV1300

Hi All,

I am planning to buy a receiver which has all the features required for perfect sound quality. I am not too concerned about the watts 85- 100 is fine with me.

Can someone please tell me which one of the above two should I go for. Please feel free to suggest any other good ones too.
