Help with my first music system

Hello everyone!

I am in the process of building an audio system for my house. I don't consider myself very knowledgeable on audio systems. But I do enjoy high quality detailed music and clear immersive sound for movies. So I may not be eloquent in expressing my requirements.

Room specification:

Open area: kitchen + living room -> 30' X 12'
Listening area -> 15' X 12'

Current Components:

Klipsch ->
R-15M L/R
RC - 62 ii C
SVS -> SB12 NSD sub
Onkyo -> NR 656 7.2 Receiver

Total cost-> approx $1000

Positioning:
TV and Receiver on the far end of the room facing the longer side of the room
The L/R around 7 feet apart and with the listening area forms an approximate equilateral triangle.
The Sub is in the top right corner.

Uses:
50 % Music -> Classic Rock, Jazz, World music ( highly detailed symphonic orchestrations)
50 % Movies

Rationale for my choice so far:
I got all the components during one sale or other. I understand that for home theater the LCR is best when its matched as closely as possible. I hope to end up with a matching LR for my Centers (looking at RF- 82 iis and hoping to move the R-15Ms to rear- but I have my doubts if that’s the right choice)

I chose Klipsch mostly for their
1) efficiency
2) cost
3) they were so much better than my Bose pc speakers :)

My New Requirements:

My intention is to get a pair of front speakers (floor standing or bookshelves) that will deliver for my music and movie requirements. I have heard that Klipsch is not the best for music. So I was wondering what other brands and models would fit my bill. I intend to spend around 1500$ bucks for the L/R setup. I can always return or sell my center if need be. But the budget would still stay around $1500 bucks.

My Complaints:

I have attempted magnolia speakers in best buy. I intend to spend more time on Martin Logans and B&Ws. Unfortunately it takes me some hours before I can make up my mind about whether I like the sound or not. I l like the way my current setup sounds but I do feel it can be more detailed. The center certainly feels muddled at times and not very clear. The sub obviously overpowers when used by r-15ms in 2.1 for music and has to be toned down. I hope to rectify all this with my choice of 2 front speakers.

Any suggestions on where I should start ? What models/brands I should focus on with my price point ? I can wait 2-4 months for a good deal.

Thanks so much! Apologies if anything is unclear.
