Help with motorola dvr

Hello my motorola dvr box started flashing "dvi" on it and my tv picture went out. i cant seem to get a picture back though i can hear the audio just fine. I am not sure if the box went bad or if the hdmi/dvi cable needs to be changed. any help would be appreciated. thank you.

What is the model number of your Motorola DVR, and how do you have it connected to your other equipment (TV and/or receiver)?

If it's a cable box, try unplugging it for a minute before calling your cable company. Otherwise try unplugging it for a minute before having Adam work that internet voodoo on the problem.
