I love my Klipsch KG4's as mains in my HT system but I am going to buy a Yahama 5890. Just want to know if the Yamaha will be too bright with the KG's? I want to keep them if possible. Would the Pioneer 1015 be better?
Thanks

Both of those receivers can equalize each channel, so it dosen't really matter.

I have a pair of Kg4s I use with either a KV3 or KLF-C7 center, RS-3 front and rear surrounds, ACI Saturn sub and Klipsch SW8 sub for upper bass. My receiver is a Yamaha RX-V2095. I think my earlier Yamaha receiver sounds brighter than current models and I love my setup, so I think you will be fine. I think the SW8 helps to balance the sound by allowing me to tailor the upper bass. I really enjoy the Kg4s and will never part with them. Enjoy.

......suspect they do, Neal, Klipsch made a good move when they got away from the LARGE horns of the Heritage Line....one of these days, I'm going to get over to Custom Audio, the high-end outlet here in Little Rock, and see what all they got....

I live in Dennison, Illinois which is approximately 75 mi from Indianapolis. I went to one of Klipsch' annual "Pilgrimages" a couple of years ago at their Engineering offices. It was pretty cool. They demoed several of their systems including the new THX Ultra and new Reference Series. We also toured one of the local theaters which had three different Klipsch Professional systems setup. We were able to go behind the screens and into the projection both to see equipment and how things work.

Neal702 I see you have the Chorus, Quartet and Kg1s, all very nice speakers. One thing I never understood was all the attention for the Heritage. I always found them to be too lean in the bass area. I never saw the attraction, but I'd love to have a pair of La Scalas or Belles and of course the Khorns, but you really need to have the correct room for them.

Mulester7, I was in Little Rock also two years ago for an EMS convention and wanted to make it to local audio shops, but didn't have the time. How far away is Hope? Have you ever been to the Klipsch plant?
