Here is my sad tale. I mounted an LCD over the fireplace and mounted 2 Axiom M22s and a VP150 around the tv (on wall speakers) with surrounds in the ceiling (M-2s). Now my wife wants to tile up the entire fireplace and remove the LRC speakers. There is not talking to this woman! The only choice I see is to have front speakers put in the ceiling and hope for the best. Any recommendations on good ceiling speakers for the front speakers (no more than $300-$350 each). I know they will be inferior to towers or wall speakers due to placement location but I am looking for the best of the worst. I feel bad enough as it is, so please only sympathetic and helpful responses. I am pressed for time since the remodel is set to begin next week. Thanks in advance.
