That is important information I have been on the Cambridge Audio site.
My next question is, have you connected the player to the Internet and done the firmware updates? Machines just about never come with updates but the first version. It seems that player was introduced totally unfit for purpose. There are boat loads of firmware updates for numerous problems, including serious HDMI handshake issues. So if you have not updated the firmware that should be your next step.
Your HDMI should be set to output bit stream and the resolution should match your TV, which I assume is 1080p.
I hope this will solve your problem. However, nowhere in the specs or in the manual, do I find this to be an HDCP certified unit. Certification is very expensive and often skipped by smaller manufacturers. Non certified units are prone to be boat anchors.
If the above does not solve the problem, ditch that machine and buy a machine you know to be HDCP certified.
