Help with following speakers and amp

K I've decided to buy a 2ch system and an amp instead of a surround and a receiver. It will be used to listen to all sorts of music, but mostly classical, rock, and rap. So both high and low freq.
The room is something around 10mx10m (32ft) and the ceiling is 3.5m at the lowest part and 5-6m at the highest. I don't need the speakers to shatter the windows. Just something crisp for almost all types of music, especially the ones mentioned above.

budget is around $1500, give or take. That includes speakers AND receivers (and I guess CD player as well).

i would be glad if you could tell me which of these integrated amplifiers
are better.

Marantz PM7001
Denon PMA 700
Vincent SV 226
Vincent SV 121
NAD C352 (****i heard the higher end NADs arent as good as other brands... any opinions on the higher end NADs?*****)

and two different speakers:

Infinity BETA 50
AAD c-880

I also saw other speakers, but found those two to be the best ones.

I personally found the Infinity one sound really good when it was connected
to the vincent sv-121. i dont think it can be connected to sv-129 but there
are models in between.

Speaker and Amp ID

Not sure on the budget for your speakers and integrated, but you might look into the following options:

For 2 channel music speakers, check out the Onix Strata Minis from AV123.com. $2k new.

Also investigate the Emotiva 2 channel pre-pro and amp. They are just over $1k for both and got a great review by Audioholics.

My suggestion is a pre/owned pair for under $500. Sometimes you can find deals on new for under $500. That leaves $1000 for everything else.

ummm, i kinda wanted to know about those specific speakers and amps that i posted. The system will be purchased in Iran, and while I'm sure I can find almost every brand and model if I look hard, those are the ones that I have found (or rather, my brother has found) in a couple of stores that were actually not bad given the budget.

I like NAD and own a set (albeit a c370 & c521i). Denon and Marantz are also nice, any of the threee should serve you well. I've never heard Vincent.

Take a look at my sig Build a pair of A/V-1s or 2s add any decent integrated and you are all set. I am a Marantz fan, but I also love the sound of NAD. Another you might look at is Cambridge Audio the 540 and 640 integrateds sound nice.

DEFINITELY focus on the speaker FIRST, since they will make the biggest difference period. I haven't heard Vincent either, but any of the others mentioned will do fine with good speakers.

I don't know how things are over there so this may not be relevent but I would think about whether or not can you get service if necessary. My take is that the receivers do not make that much difference in sound. Speakers do. With your budget I would spend about $1000 on speakers and about $500 on the receiver. I would go with a Yamaha, Denon or Onkyo because you get a good product at a fair price and it does not matter if it's an AV receiver or not, just run it pure direct. Audition as many speakers as you can, that is the only way to know what sounds good to your ears.
