Help with doubt on feedback

Hi all,

Asking for your opinion on something that happened today with my brand new HS5 from Yamaha.
I was testing them out (PC-USB Interface-Speakers) as guitar amps and I forgot to switch my mic from the PC mic to the USB Interface input .. and bang, feedback...
It lasted for about 10 secs before I turned them off (power switch) and it was not very loud. It was definitely uncomfortable but not like I'm death now. I think the volume was maybe 20-40% of what the speakers are capable of.
The monitors sound fine now, as far as I can perceive.

So now the million $ question:
- do you think it got damaged
- how would I go about testing for damages

Do they sound damaged? If not then you're fine,

Well, they sound fine, but I wonder if the frequency response got changed or something.

Any test you would do? I am listening to piano songs and I do not hear scratches..
