I recently bought the Home Theater in a box setup (DHT486-DV) from
Denon, and I have a question I hope you can help with.
I thought it might improve my sound from the DVD player if I were to
use a digital co-ax cable to hook the DVD to the receiver, instead of
the cables provided. I attached the cable I bought (Monster digital
co-ax) to the Coax 1 port on the receiver and what I believe is the
co-ax out on the DVD. My question is this: assuming I did it right,
what setting do I need to adjust on the receiver to get the sound via
the digital co-ax?
Or am I completely on the wrong track with this? The sound as it is out of the box is pretty darn good, but I thought it might improve with the digital cable.
Thanks very much for any help you can offer!
