Help with amp and av receiver.

I am inquiring to connect my av receiver 5.1 channel (surround sound) to a cinepro 6 channel power amp.
The power amp input spec per channel is 1.0v to 1.5v, I assume this is line level and the av receiver is spec'd at 70 watts per channel. Anyone know if this is able to be done and how to? Thanks in advance.

The power of the receiver is a moot point since your Cinepro will be providing all the power.

As to if you can do this, as long as your receiver has preamp outputs, you should be good to go.

The first step is to determine if your AVR has pre-amplifier output ("pre out") jacks to enable it feed the Cinepro's inputs. What make and model AVR do you have?
