Help w/ RCA RT2500 (No Sound)

Okay, I own a RCA RT2500 Receiver. I tried hooking up the right & left speaker that came w/ it, & I am getting no sound, not even a hum. I can program the receiver w/ stations, but nothing? What could it be, it has been sitting for about 3 months, but in very good condition.

Plz help!!

Be sure the speakers are set to on, there may be a button somewhere.

With some receivers you need to run a setup procedure before they make any noise whatsoever. My Denon was like that.

Check the manual.
