Hello I have a Panasonic SA-HE75 Reciever, Yamaha NS-P106 speakers, a plain Citizen DVD player, a Prima 32' tv ,and a computer all hooked inton the reciever. my issue is that it have to turn the reciever up a lot to get sound out of it. It is rated from -85 to 0 dcbs. I have it normally around 35. I am wonderin if its just a seting issue in the reciever or something in general woth the reciever. Any help would be appreciated.

-35 is a long way from maximum power if the scale goes from -80 to 0. The volume controls are not linear. You will notice that bumping the volume from -35 to -30 will be a larger change than going from say -50 to -45.

In short, the actual number on the scale is meaningless. Just turn it up to whatever number achieves the loudness you like. You could do a search too - I and others have discussed the technical reasons for this many times.
