Help...sony Dream system DAV-FX900W

I have a 60 inch Sony SXRD A2000, with the above system which I received as a gift.. The front speakers on this system come with stands, but my room setup is not condusive to stands..I want to remove them and I dont like the idea of wall mounting. Has anyone every attempted to mount dream system front speakers to the side of an A2000...Is it as simple as two side tape?...The speakers feel to be about 5 pounds each. Help..advice appreciated.

They don't have mounting holes on the back? That is strange, all the Sony Dream system's I have seen have the keyholes on the back.

the speakers have mounting holes, but i want to attach it to the side of the tV not a wall. If anyone has ant experience with this I would appreciate it.
