Help setting up sound system in a new business

Hey,
My gf is about to open a new hair salon in town and, being a geek, it has fallen on me to build the computer and sound system for the place.

My dilemma is both in speaker choice and speaker placement due to the strange layout of the space. The floor plan isn't finalized but here's an early design with my idea for dipole speaker placement:

The shaded area is the waiting area with tile flooring, the rest of the place will have an almost 'cushioned' flooring that is supposed to be good for standing on.

Anyway, on the cheaper end of the spectrum, I'm looking at getting four Athena AS-R1.2's for ~$100 a piece. I'm hoping the 5-1/4" driver and two 1" tweeters will be enough to fill the room with some 'ambiance'.

On the more expensive side (trying to justify potentially doubling the total budget) are the Mordaunt Short Avant 903i Bipoles for ~$400 a piece with two 4" drivers and two 1" tweeters each.

Am I going totally in the wrong direction with the dipole speakers? If not, am I missing any good ones that live somewhere in the $200-300 range?

Thanks for the help :)
