Help setting up dual SVS SB13 ultra with powered monitors

Hey guys, i am new to the forum but i will try to give you the best description i can. I am throwing around the idea of getting dual SB 13" subs for my powered studio monitors ( Emotiva Airmotiv 6's) This is going to be a pure two channel music setup. Currently i have an Emotiva Stealth DC-1 DAC that is running the system. It has XLR out for both the left and the right out. Now i know with one sub you would hook both of the XLR's into the sub's in and then the XLR out's would go to the monitors. How would I go about hooking this up if i were to add two sub woofers to the equation? Thanks guys..

BTW, pictures will be coming soon of the completed setup :)

I would use the RCA outputs for the subs, assuming the XLR and RCA are both live at the same time. Y them together to combine channels to mono, then use another Y to split them to go to each sub.

I would like to go this route, however, i want to run the monitors through the SB13's so that i can utilize the high pass filters and the other features the sub offers. I currently do not have a way to manage my monitors, they simply run full range. I know its not a big issue, but i wouls like to have the option if need be.

That makes sense, I would want to off-load the deep bass from the monitors as well.
Why not give SVS a call? If you haven't yet, you will be amazed at how good their CS is!

There’s nothing that says you have to utilize both inputs the SVS has. Just run the left out of the DAC to an input of the first sub, and then the sub’s output to the left speaker. Rinse and repeat for the right side. RCA or XLR, your choice.
