Help Please.

Hey guys, I'm new here.
I need help finding a decent system. I don't know much about this stuff, so I need your help.

Couple months ago my dad came home with a 5.1 system. So I took it and set it up in my room. But it was one of those White Van Scam Speakers, so yeah they weren't that great... (lol )

Do you guys know any good 5.1 systems, doesn't need to be that special, since its going to be in my bedroom

I have my computer connected to my TV. And the speakers connected to this soundcard:

What's your budget?

You will need a receiver, maybe something from Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo, Pioneer, HK, etc. and speakers, maybe something from Axiom, SVS, AV123, etc.

What do you think the price range is for something just for a bedroom (thats not a crappy system )

CC or onecall has some good deals.

These are very low-cost options so if you have a larger budget, you will definitely get a bit more.

A nub question (sry if its really dumb lol):

I have my soundcard where it has 3 audio Y-Cables...

So would this work?

Where it has 4 (white/red) inputs instead of max of 2 on the other one...
