First let me say Hi to everybody. This is my first post.
I upgraded the equipment in my Family room so I am moving the old stuf to a "spare living room". The speakers I am using connect to the amp via a single dig rca cable from each speaker. I needed to extend the lenght of these cables to reach the amp so I purchased 25' dig rca cables. (or so I thought lol) I just realized I got the wrong cables! I got subwoofer audio cables!

((Tried to post the link to the cables I got but the forum wont let me since I have less than five posts - sorry.))

Question is... will they work for full range speakers or is there something about them that makes them for subwoofers only? Do I need to just hang my head in shame and go get the right cables?
Thanks to all Very Much!

Hi FirstPlasma welcome to the forum.:)

You will be fine with those cables. You can interchange a Digital Coax RCA and a Sub RCA they are both 75ohm cables and will serve the same purpose.

Just out of interest what type of powered speakers are these?

Thank you Thank you Thank you :D

Again.. sorry I can't post a link... but they are a speaker system from Logitech. I use a media center pc in the setup for this room and the logitech speakers - being computer based - plug in with a standard green computer audio plug. Things are no longer done this way with the media center pc but it is an old set up that I have not put to much money into. :) (My new media center pc uses HDMI)
The logitech speakers are fine for a second theater setup but I would not recommend them for your main room.

Thanks again for your reply. I am very very glad to hear that I can still use these cables!
