Hey guys; please take a look at the attached pics.... basically; you are looking at my dedicated MR... the issue/concern I have are my speakers and their placement. First; my room is just 13 X 19; and as you will see my screen is on a "fake wall"... PLease notice the "cut outs" on either side of the screen... this is where I originally placed my front towers... currently; I moved my fronts out and my sub and center channel are still behind their respective cut outs. The problem I am having is this room is accoustically challenged... I run-re run audussey and just can't quite get it to where I want. In the end; I am lacking the deep; tight bass I prefer. The room dimensions make me want to keep my sub and center behind the wall/cut outs; but I am begining to wonder if this is not my problem. B4 attempting to move sub/center I want to be sure... the sub is a monster to move and as you can see the cut outs make it extremely tough to bring it into the room.
Although the pics dont show it... my Aperion 6T's are toed in toward listening area and are placed approx. 6" away from wall. Any recommendations.. either speaker/sub placement... acoustic panels... ?? Thxs in advance

Deep tight bass requires proper room treatment. Broadband bass control in the cutouts everywhere that isn't physically taken up by the speakers is fair game and should be done. I'd also do something reasonably thick on the rear wall do deal with nulls off the back and slap opposite the screen.

I can't see from the pics how solid the inner portions of your 'cutouts' are nor what the front is actually like (assume it's just cloth over framing).

Also, the screen is VERY large for a room that size forcing the speakers to the side walls which also causes boundary related bass issues. You'll need to treat right next to them no matter where you leave them.

Once you get those things done, you might still have better luck doing a manual measurement and EQ adjustment. Audessey makes averaged adjustments to get the best for multiple locations. That's not always the best thing for the 1 or 2 seats you use 99% of the time.
