Hello guys,
I am a keen music listener and I enjoy listening to all kinds of music but especially jazz, classical and rock. I am searching for a new pair of speakers which I will connect to my desktop computer.

I have noticed that most pc speakers offer poor sound quality and I would love to go for something better.

For the time being I am looking into something relatively compact but I am also trying to look into bigger, 2.1 sound systems but no more than that.

My budget is relatively low, 70-110$ but at this period everyone struggles over money and I can't afford any more than that unfortunately.

I found some nice monitor speakers and I would love to hear your opinion:

1.Behringer Monitor MS16
2.Edifier R1600Τ
3.M-Audio Studiophile Av40
4.Audioengine 2
5.Cambridge Soundworks 2.1 (Used set at this time!)

I know they are not professional speakers, but as I said I am just a home user who just enjoys to listen to music!

Your help is much appreciated, thank you!

These look very nice, reviews are very encouraging as well!

Just to make things even more challenging I have to add Edifier R2000T speakers to the list as well as Q Acoustics 2020, which if I am not mistaken is a pair so I will have to get some decent amp along with them!

That selection is not too bad, I have few notes:
From this list my choice would be:
3.M-Audio Studiophile Av40

I own Behringer MS16 at work - and they are not bad, but a far cry from my home pc monitors - JBL LSR2325p
I got them at $167/each

I want to add a correction here,my budget was referring to pounds, in US dollars that would be 110-190$.

If the av40's sound anything like the av30's, stay very far away. The av30's are high up on the list of worst speakers I've ever had the displeasure of listening to.
