All right here is the problem... I have a set of really nice and good AVI for car audio that are 4ohms.

My amplifier is only able to handle the load of 8 ohms at home, I want to build a box and use them at a little system in my garage. Is there anything I can do to increase the Ohms to 8, like using a resistance ?

What do I need if possible
Thanks for the info

One could use a high power resistor (for each speaker), though they typically will degrade sound to some degree as they are sucking up a lot of power. Other than that, I do not think you have much of an option other than a 4 ohm capable amplifier/receiver.
