There are so many speakers out there, more about what you like rather than what someone else does. Which of the two do you prefer? What speakers do you have experience with or are you not able to audition?

Subjectively, pretty much people who own Paradigm speakers will prefer the Paradigm and those who own RBH will prefer the RBH. It's the same with just about any speaker.

Objective, it seems to me that Paradigm speakers used to be more "accurate" in terms of on-axis speaker measurements (+/-3dB or less).

But it seems the new Paradigm speakers are less accurate in this regard. The 95F is +/- 5dB from 200Hz to 10kHz.

This was what John Atkinson wrote in Stereophile:

"I'm puzzled, therefore, by the departure of both samples from what I regard as an optimal target response."

The high-end Paradigm Persona 3F looks about +/-4dB on-axis. Again, we expect +/-3dB or less from high-end expensive speakers.

We don't have measurements of the RBH SV-6500/R yet. This tower replaced the SX-6300/R towers, which had a response of +/-3dB.

So you have to weigh several factors:

1. Salient point is which one YOU like better if you've actually heard them, not from other people.
2. Which one has better measurements.
3. Which one has the best price.

I can’t speak to the other models, but I’ve extensive experience with RBH having owned some 25 pair over the years. I always start my speaker ownership by yanking the drivers and looking inside the cabinet and crossovers. RBH cabinets are always thick, heavy with bracing everywhere. Many are extremely heavy and overbuilt. The crossovers use the finest components, heavy gauge twisted wire. Aluminum is the perfect material for loudspeakers because it’s so neutral and add no coloration. Their stamped steel (MC series) and cast frame components are extremely well made. They don’t use just any rubber for the surround. Its one of a kind and It’s dampening quality is second to none. They have two rubber balls, one with industry standard material and one with their proprietary material. Drop one and it acts like a super ball I used to mess with. Drop the RBH material and it hits the floor and stays there with virtually no bounce.

Their new cabinets in the SVTR are even heavier. They have the best performance to dollar spent from
Any manufacturer. I’ve restored loads of JBL and KEF speakers. I like them all, but it’s RBH that’s my day to day listeners.
